  • The "THIN" and "THICK" variants offer different core cross-sections, core insulation and outer sheath materials, thus enabling the optimal choice for a wide variety of installation situations and mechanical requirements.
  • Ideal protection against electromagnetic interference due to aluminium compound foil pair shielding and copper stranded shielding as overall shielding.
  • DeviceNet combines signal transmission and a 24 V power supply in a single four-wire cable.
  • UL certification according to technical data enables the product to be used on the North American market.

Applications

  • The "THIN" variant is designed as a drop cable for short branches from the main line to individual subscribers (max. 6 m per drop).
  • Suitable for outdoor use.
  • For highly flexible applications
  • DeviceNet™ connects industrial devices e.g. limit switches, photoelectric switches, valve islands, motor starters, drives, PLCs, etc.
  • The cable design allows flexible, constantly flexing use in moving machine parts and cable chains.
  • The "THICK" variant is designed as a trunk line for long transmission distances of up to 500 m.
  • Typical applications include limit switches, photoelectric switches, valve terminals, motor starters, actuators and PLCs.
  • For fieldbus communication in DeviceNet-based networks, to perform wiring to connect sensors and actuators to the controllers.
