HITRONIC® FIRE

Benefits

• Fibre optic cables (GOF) for high data rates and long transmission distances.
• Insulation integrity maintained for up to 90 minutes (tested for 180 minutes) when exposed to fire (classification FE90 in accordance with IEC 60331-25). Ensures that the system maintains its functional integrity in an emergency.
• Available in different GOF fibre categories (OM1 - OM4, OS2).
• Gel-filled central loose tube ensures longitudinal and transversal watertightness and thus optimum fibre protection.
• UV-resistant longitudinally and laterally watertight
• Armouring provides excellent protection against high mechanical stress and rodents
• Additional sheath protects the fibres for use in harsh environments
• Suitable for installation in underground tunnels where fire safety is critical
• Ensures that the fibres can still transmit data during and after a fire (according to IEC 60331-25)
• With reinforced glass yarn for strain relief.
• The corrugated steel casing offers enhanced mechanical strength and maximum rodent protection.
