Benefits

  • The patch cable assembled on both sides saves time during installation and reduces or eliminates the potential for errors during on-site assembly.
  • Ideal protection against electromagnetic interference due to aluminium-laminated pair shielding and copper stranded shielding as overall shielding (S/FTP).
  • Cat. 6A performance up to 10 Gbit/s.
  • Available with RJ45 or M12 connectors. The slim RJ45 connector enables use in devices with a very high port density, while the integrated vibration protection of the M12 connector is useful in applications with shock and vibrations.
  • Weight and space-saving thanks to reduced outer diameter. A higher installation density can therefore be achieved, especially where space is limited.

Applications

  • Typical applications include passenger information systems, entertainment systems, ticketing systems and door control systems.
  • For use in the Train Communication Network (TCN) of railway vehicles in accordance with IEC 61375.
  • For flexible use.
  • Compliant with standards for use in railway vehicles: fire safety and cable design requirements according to DIN EN 50306-4, type MM; fire behaviour test according to DIN EN 45545-2, hazard levels HL1, HL2 and HL3.
  • Can be used in dry, damp and, especially, harsh and oily environments.
  • Especially for environments where electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) is required.
  • Suitable for outdoor use.
