Benefits

Available in different designs.
High stability thanks to impact-resistant polyamide.
When connected, protection class IP 67 can be achieved.
The service-friendly screw connection makes assembly possible without a special tool, and is suitable for connections which need to be detached again.
High stability thanks to impact-resistant polyamide or die-cast zinc metal housing.
Connectors with metal housings have an electrically conductive coating. They offer optimum protection against electromagnetic interference (EMC) and dissipate interference signals with low impedance (depending on the item).
High power up to 16 A despite extremely space-saving design for very small devices.
The mechanical L coding of the connector face prevents incorrect plugging with the mating connector.

Applications

For direct current applications in the low voltage range.
Good oil and chemical resistance.
For power supply to smaller devices (e.g. decentralised I/O modules, smaller motors).
Shielded connectors with metal housings are particularly suitable for environments where electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) is required.
Also suitable as the power supply in the PROFINET network (M12L is regarded as a standardised power interface).
