Benefits

• Coding pins are placed in the pin insert and pressed in with a screwdriver (the corresponding contact positions in the opposite socket insert must be kept free).
• Coding pins are used for mechanical coding of the connector insert and prevent mismating with the mating connector.
• For simple and clear identification of connector inserts with an identical number of poles but different assignments or functions.
• Coding pins are used for mechanical coding of the connector face and prevent mismating with the mating connector.
• Coding bolts replace one or more fastening screws of the connector insert.
